My new work is born out of intuitive, tactile, non-brush work. All paintings are done without the use of brushes, using my hands, fingers and plastic wrap. The wrap then gets upcycled into new art on paper or cardboard. The process is my own. I continue to explore themes of ecology and spirituality, transformation and amorphous forms. I literally feel through the art-making process to create intentional images. This new series is called: Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring and is currently in development and is an exercise on playfulness and freedom, two essential components of my aesthetic philosophy.
